Across my graduate work in the Learning Sciences, I specialize in Digital Literacy in the Age of AI. I teach students to use emerging tools with discernment—without outsourcing the thinking that builds knowledge, judgment, and capability.
AI should support the learner—not replace the cognitive work through which capability grows.
A research-informed approach
Used well, AI can open new routes to explanation, feedback, and creativity. But learning support must preserve human agency and active cognitive effort. International guidance prioritizes critical judgment, ethical use, and informed decision-making, while recent experimental evidence shows that unguarded AI use can raise assisted performance yet weaken later independent performance (Bastani et al., 2025; Miao et al., 2024; Miao & Holmes, 2023).

Momentum and Accelerated plans each include eight 60-minute sessions. A holiday may move a date, but it never shortens the pack: the plan is complete after all eight sessions—not at the end of a calendar month.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?+
Yes. Both online and in-person formats are available, with flexible booking to help families find the right format and schedule.
What is learning coaching?+
Learning coaching helps a student develop practical ways to plan, study, approach complex tasks, and become more independent alongside subject-specific support.
How is the support personalized?+
Each student receives individualized guidance shaped around their strengths, current challenges, goals, and learning needs—with flexible booking to help families find a workable schedule.
What happens to our session when there is a holiday?+
Session packs follow completed sessions rather than calendar months. If KM Learning is closed on your regular date, the session moves forward to the next mutually agreed date and your pack still includes every session purchased.
Can we begin with one session before choosing a plan?+
Yes. New families may begin with one Initial Learning Session after the complimentary consultation: $70 for Grades K–5, $75 for Grades 6–9, or $80 for Grades 10–12+. If you continue, the full payment is credited toward your selected eight-session plan. Momentum rates are $5 lower per session, while Accelerated rates are $10 lower per session. Book by October 1, 2026, to receive a $40 Early Enrolment Credit toward your first plan; one credit per family and not combinable with the school-year discount.

I support students in public, Catholic, private and independent, charter, and homeschool programs. Learning plans are adapted to the student's curriculum, school expectations, pace, calendar, and goals—including enrichment or grade-ahead work when appropriate.
